About the designer
Esther Fuhrman is an internationally recognized sculptor whose work appears in numerous corporate and private collections in the US and abroad. She is best known for her large bronze sculptures. One appeared in New York's World Trade Center until its recent destruction.
In 1986, Esther began by offering a collection of jewelry called"Sculpture to Wear" at the international Art Expo in New York's Javit's Center. She was then honored by selection as one of twelve "new designers" featured at the prestigious Jeweler's of America Show in July 1987, where her gold and silver Limited Editions were acclaimed by fine jewelers internationally.
As Fashion Jewelry was growing very rapidly. Ms. Fuhrman introduced a line called "Office to Evening" targeted at the business and professional woman. Over the past 15 years, she had designed and manufactured private label jewelry for some of the largest retail chains in America and abroad.
As a woman designing for women, Esther concentrates on accessories for active and working women. Her jewelry combines fashion & function to both enhance the wearer's appearance and help solve a problem. Five years ago, she patented the hidden loop - a device that pulls down from the back of a pin to hang your eyewear (or name badge or keys). When the loop is not in use, it is behind the pin and invisible. Now the wearer displays only a great looking designer pin
Esther Fuhrman is listed in numerous US and international Who's Who, such as "Who's Who in American Art".
